You will be picked up near Ylläs, fitted with a full-body rescue suit in a warm cabin, then guided to an ice hole on a small Arctic lake. Float for about 20 to 30 minutes, watch the sky, and finish with hot berry juice by a campfire. English guidance and transfers are included.
“Collection was prompt, guides friendly. Once in the cosy house guides briefed us and split us into groups of 8. Once kitted up there is a little walk down a trail lit with fairy lights to the water. The experience of floating in the lake was awesome and once the lights were turned off the stars and the aurora were awesome. Even in the thick suits it is cold so wear thick thermals and fleeces underneath. After 20/30 minutes floating we got out, had warm berry juice and warmed by the fire. Absolutely the best activity ever!”
Drive a snowmobile through snowy forest, frozen marsh, and open fells on a three-hour Safartica tour from Ylläsjärvi.
